NMG Studios Terms and Conditions
1. Shoot Dates and Times
• All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your preferred date and time.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than the start of the shoot week.
• Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and acknowledgment of these terms and conditions.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
• Rescheduling/Cancellation by the Client:
• Clients may reschedule or cancel their booking with a minimum of 5 days’ written notice.
• Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations or reschedules made with less than 5 days’ notice. Rescheduling is subject to the studio’s standard fees and availability.
• No-Show or Late Arrival:
• If a client arrives late or fails to attend their session, NMG Studios reserves the right to reduce or cancel the booking without refund. Rescheduling for missed sessions will be subject to additional fees.
• Studio Cancellations:
• In the unlikely event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond the studio’s control (e.g., illness, technical failures, severe weather, etc.), the liability of NMG Studios will be limited to offering an alternative reschedule date.
3. Client Information
• All personal information provided by the client is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.
4. Governing Law
• All agreements between NMG Studios and the client are governed by British law. Both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of British courts.
5. Studio Time and Bookings
• Booking times commence as per your confirmation email and end at the scheduled time.
• Unused time within your booking period is non-refundable.
• Additional time may be booked on the day, subject to availability, at £30 per hour.
• Overruns beyond your scheduled time will incur a £30 charge per additional hour unless pre-arranged.
• Please ensure your booking includes time for setup and pack-down.
• All items and equipment must be returned to their original locations at the end of your session.
6. Equipment Use
• All studio equipment and facilities are checked weekly and provided in good working order. Clients must report any faults immediately upon arrival. NMG Studios is not responsible for losses resulting from unreported faults.
• Equipment is subject to change without notice; alternative solutions will be provided if unavailable.
• One full-length backdrop is included in the booking fee as agreed upon prior to booking.
• Clients are responsible for ensuring they book adequate time for their session, including setup and teardown.
7. Insurance and Liability
• NMG Studios does not insure client equipment or personal belongings. Clients must have appropriate insurance to cover loss, theft, or damage.
• NMG Studios is not responsible for any injuries or accidents incurred during the booking period by the client or any persons in attendance.
8. Studio Policies
• Behavior:
• NMG Studios maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior toward staff or the property. Any breach may result in immediate cancellation of your booking without refund and a permanent ban from future use.
• No Smoking:
• Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes or vaping devices, is strictly prohibited on the premises.
• Security Monitoring:
• NMG Studios reserves the right to monitor and record activity on the premises for security purposes, excluding the dressing room. Recorded footage may be used as evidence if studio policies are violated.
9. General Conduct
• Any damage or loss caused by the client or their party during the booking period will be the responsibility of the client. NMG Studios reserves the right to charge for repairs or replacements.
• The studio must be left in the same condition as it was found. Any excessive mess or damage may result in additional cleaning fees.
